Terms of Service

Last updated [date of publication]
Draft for review. Not yet final.

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name] ("Keepsheet", "we") for your use of keepsheet.app. By creating an account you agree to them.

What Keepsheet is

Keepsheet organizes transactions from files you upload and from bank accounts you connect, and shows summaries such as cash, spending and profit. It's an information tool. It isn't accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and it isn't a bank. Check important numbers with your bank statements and a professional.

Your account

Bank connections

Bank connections are provided through Plaid, and you authorize Keepsheet and Plaid to retrieve your account information for the purpose of running Keepsheet. Connections are read-only. Banks can interrupt or expire connections, and when that happens you may need to reconnect.

Accuracy

Categories and summaries are generated automatically and can be wrong. Data from banks and files may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect.

Pricing

Keepsheet is currently in early access. [Pricing and billing terms to be added before charging anyone.]

Your data

You own your data. We use it only as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it or delete it at any time.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Disclaimers and liability

Keepsheet is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Keepsheet isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the information it shows, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [Governing law: State of Florida — confirm.]

Changes

We may update these terms. If the change is meaningful, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
